29 kg of heroin seized in Greece, two Albanians arrested
About 29 kilograms of heroin were seized by police in Greece, while 3 people have been arrested, 2 of whom were Albanians.According to Greek media, intense investigations led to the destruction of a specialized network for drug trafficking by identifying and arresting its members.
Two Albanians, 32 and 34, have been arrested. Drugs were found in a tavern at Kalyvia Thorikou, which was used as a basis for criminal activity.
The heroine, which according to Greek media came from Albania and Turkey, was sent to this tavern and then repacked and mixed with other substances.
The operation, carried out by Athens and Thessaloniki, led to the seizure of a total of 59 heroin packets, weighing 28 kilograms and 708.5 grams, found hidden in the tavern. Authorities also found mixed substances, about 4600 euros, cell phones, identity cards and driver licenses./tvklan.al
