Kosovo concerned over Serbia’s growing military potential
A senior Kosovo Minister voiced Wednesday his country’s concerns over Serbia’s growing military potential.
Kosovo Foreign Minister Enver Hoxhaj told the Parliamentary Commission on Foreign Issues that if they see the countries Serbian PM Alexander Vucic visited during December and January they can see the military deals he has reached.
Hoxhaj said that Serbia has bought many fighter jets and rockets in the last months.
“I can tell you with the greatest responsibility that the regional balance is not the same with what it has been three months before and this is a source of concern for us,” Hoxhaj said.
Serbia does not recognize Kosovo as an independent country, with Pristine accusing Belgrade of arming Serbians living in Kosovo with the aim of annexing the north of Mitrovica city./tvklan.al
