Mortgage workers hid assets for some judges and prosecutors
Prosecutors and judges in Albania are suspected of trying to hide assets, to avoid penalties from Vetting.
There is suspicion that in this process mortgage workers have also become involved.
Klan Television has managed to provide a confidential letter that the newly appointed notary, Blerina Doracaj, has started at the local property registration offices.
By this letter, she asks for a restart of the property control process for 68 judges and prosecutors, as the first phase that has just ended has revealed shortcomings, until the concealment of property data for some of the magistrates.
A working group will be set up to verify all the way to date the list of magistrates’ assets in mortgage offices.
Responsibility will also be taken by the employees who will be found to have dragged the process or assisted entities to escape Vetting.
In the order is required to apply immediately the request made by the High Inspectorate of Declaration and Audit of Interest and no delays in listing assets for those who are part of the justice reform.
