Ramush Haradinaj new Prime Minister of Kosovo
Leader of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo, Ramush Haradinaj has been elected prime minister of Kosovo.
AFK leader came to this position as a coalition candidate between his party with the Democratic Party of Kosovo, the Kosovo Initiative, while in the coalition are the New Kosovo Alliance, Serbian Lists and other minority parties.
Haradinaj was a commander in the pro-indipendence Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA) during 1998-1999 conflict against Serbian forces.
He went on to become Prime Minister in 2004 but resigned soon after he was indicted for warm crimes by a UN tribunal in The Hague, which eventually acquitted him.
