Kosovo President visit in the USA, meeting with Trump
President Hashim Thaçi, head of the Kosovo delegation, accompanied by First Lady, Lumnije Thaçi, has departed today to New York, where he will attend the next session of the United Nations General Assembly.
With the invitation of the President of the United States of America, Donald Trump, and First Lady, Melania Trump, in the halls of the Assembly, the President and First Lady of Kosovo will be received by the presidential couple Trump. It is expected that Kosovo’s leader will have a brief meeting with his American counterpart, Donald Trump.
During the five-day visit to New York, the head of state of Kosovo will hold numerous bilateral meetings with heads of state and leaders of various international organizations.
Thaçi will also attend the meeting of the heads of six Western Balkan countries, hosting High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Federica Mogherini.
