“European army”, PM Rama appreciates Macron’s calls
Prime Minister Rama considered a powerful speech the proposal for the creation of a common European army made by French President Emmanuel Macron.
Through a Twitter post, Rama has chosen to write in French a greeting to the French President about this initiative.
“I appreciate Emmanuel Macron’s powerful speech. A call to awaken Europe for which we all need. Including us, the candidate countries,” the prime minister said.
During a speech at the Sorbonne University in Paris, Macron called on the European Union to have an autonomous capacity to act, which implies a joint military force.
