President Meta hosts Bulgarian National Audit Office President
President Ilir Meta received today in a special meeting the Bulgarian National Audit Office President, Mr. Tzvetan Tzvetkov, who is currently paying an official visit in Albania, by the invitation of the Head of Supreme State Audit, Bujar Leskaj.
Meta praised the traditional relations between the two countries, underlining that the cooperation in the field of control and audit is very important especially in the exchange of best experiences in this field and dealing with issues not only national but also those arising from European law.
Underlining the importance of the experience of the Audit Office of the Republic of Bulgaria for the Supreme Audit of the State of Albania, President Meta praised the agreement between these institutions and expressed the confidence that its implementation will improve the High Council of Justice’s performance in accordance with European standards in terms of transparency, professional control and accountability to the management of public resources and ownership./tvklan.al
