Tahiri issue, DP boycotts the parliamentary commissions
Democratic Party has decided to boycott parliamentary committees during this week as the parliament is expected to decide on the immunity of MP Saimir Tahiri.
The sources told ABC News that the DP will not attend the parliamentary commissions this week. DP members will not be present either at the meeting being held by the Laws Comission.
The boycott decision comes at a time that the parliament is expected to decide Wednesday against the Prosecution’s authorization to arrest former Interior Minister Saimir Tahiri. The vote against the majority was also publicly announced by Prime Minister Edi Rama on Monday at the PS Parliamentary Group meeting./tvklan.al
