28 November / Rama: Albanians to join the EU
On the Independence Day of Albania, Prime Minister Edi Rama said that the Albanians of Albania, Kosovo and other areas will join the great European family.
During his speech in the activity held in Vlora, attended by Presidents Ilir Meta, Hashim Thaçi and other personalities, the Prime Minister commented on the voices of the national unification of the Albanians. The head of government stressed that Albanians will join during the EU membership of Albania and Kosovo.
“As for our dream of our union realities more than passions point to a unifying project, but unified by common synergies on a peaceful ground on the open path of European family membership. Albanian model of coexistence is a guide that the diversity of this coexistence is cultivated even in younger generations”,
Rama said.
During his speech, the Prime Minister also praised the diaspora Albanians for the role they have played by exalting the name of Albanians everywhere in the world.
“Albanian Diaspora is one of the great stories of our nation’s success in their role of the creation of our states of Albania and Kosovo and their personal successes,” said Prime Minister Edi Rama.
The chief executive also spoke about joint agreements between Albania and Kosovo on lifting trade and economic barriers between the two countries./tvklan.al
