Chief Prosecutor, Rama calls on opposition for dialogue
Prime Minister Edi Rama insists on electing the interim chief prosecutor in consensus with the opposition. So he repeated the invitation again:
“By respecting the legislation in power to elect the general interim prosecutor, even with a simple majority, which is clearly supported, because so the law says, by our international partners, will not top until the last second invitation to the opposition become part of the process”.
At the parliamentary meeting reminded the opposition of the successor of Adriatik Llalla, he could only be elected with the majority of parliamentary charters, but stressed that co-operation is important for the country, now on the eve of opening EU negotiations.
“Today again we are the majority who looks at the issue not with the eyes at present, not for other purposes, except for the strategic goal of our country, which is primarily for the opening of negotiations …If the opposition does not show interest in the country at the moment, we will elect the interim prosecutor with a simple majority, but we must fight to the end to reach an agreement”./
