Luigi Soreca, head of the EU delegation in Albania
Romana Vlahutin’s mandate it’s officially over. EU Ambassador in Albania has been replaced by Luigi Soreca today.
Earlier, Soreca served as the head of the General Directorate for Immigration and Internal Affairs at the European Commission.
The role of this structure was to guarantee security in the European Union and to co-operate on a common immigration and asylum seeker policy.
Before joining the EU structures, Soreca worked for the Italian Ministry of Interior./tvklan.al
