Albanian FM to visit Athens this week
Albanian Foreign Minister Ditmir Bushati is due to visit Athens later this week, Greek media reports.
“Protothema” said that during “the important” visit, two ministers, Bushati and Nikos Kotzias, are awaited to focus on various issues concerning two countries, including correction of school books, creation of cemeteries for Greek soldiers who died during WWII in Albania, etc.
At the mean time, sea border disputes among two countries and Cameria Issue has been at the top of agenda for two countries, in the last years.
Two counterparts are also awaited to discuss the establishment of working groups for a new friendship treaty between Albania and Greece.
Bushati will visit Athens on March 2 and 3.
Greece and Albania are two NATO member countries, and Athens is said to support Albania’s EU path./tvklan.al
