Drug trafficking from Albania/2 tons of cannabis seized in Italy
Italian authorities have seized a case of drug trafficking from Albanian coasts to Italy.
An amount of 2 tons of cannabis is seized by Italian police in Ferrara city. Drug was found inside two vans on Tuesday during an anti-drug raid by Italian authorities, while the news was published today.
Traffickers run away when they saw that they were being prosecuted by the police. They abandoned the vans and escaped towards forest. While Wednesday morning, police found and arrested an Albanian 19-year-old from Vlora city with initials R.R.
Italian police’s preliminary suspicions are that the drug had been launched from Albania with the Italian market destination. While investigations are ongoing for the discovery of all the suspects./tvklan.al
