Former PM Berisha reacts on Tahiri’s release: Tonight mafia will celebrate!
Former Prime Minister Sali Berisha has sarcastically commented on the Court of Appeal’s verdict to release former Interior Minister Saimir Tahiri. Through a post on social networks, Berisha says “tonight Mafia will celebrate”.
According to Berisha, the verdict was given by Prime Minister Rama’s orders, adding that this decision will have a bad impact on Albania’s negotiations with the EU.

The chief judge, chief prosecutor, chief constituent, the chief criminal, Edvin Kristaq Rama ordered the immediate release of Saimir Tahiri, from “house arrest”, the measure gave three weeks ago”
