General Director of State Police Haki Çako discharged
The Interior Minister, Fatmir Xhafaj, signed on Monday the General Director of State Police Haki Çako, discharge from duty.
The news was announced in a statement published on the Ministry of Interior’s official website saying that |Minister Xhafaj appreciates the contribution, commitment and dedication of Çako to the leadership of State Police in recent years. He has a long career in the Police and has professionally managed structures of different levels”.
It is learned that Minister Xhafaj had a meeting during which he thanked Çako for the work and the cooperation in fulfilling the mission of State Police.
“However, the realizations of the objectives of this governing mandate in the sector of public order and security challenges require a faster pace and a great work dynamics. For this reason, it is necessary to have a new leadership with new energies to motivate and advance the work of the State Police. The work of the latter must necessarily be oriented towards concrete results, in order to respond better to the requirements of this new phase and to high expectations of the public and international partners towards the State Police”,
said further in the statement of the Ministry of Interior.
Haki Çako was appointed to the post of Head of State Police on April 16, 2015./tvklan.al
