German MP: Parliament should have removed Tahiri’s immunity
German Bundestag MP, rapporteur for Albania in EC, Thorsten Frei at a press conference spoke about “Tahiri” issue and said he has followed it closely and the Parliament must remove his immunity. “No need to defend some people in such situations, Parliament should undoubtedly remove immunity from Saimir Tahiri”.
Among other things, the German rapporteur said that Albania should make great steps in moving towards the European Union.
“Your country must make great strides on the way to Europe”.
The German MP also spoke about OSCE / ODIHR recommendations, calling for rigorous follow-up. “Electoral reform is important for Albania, so do not waste time”./tvklan.al
