Italian Interior Minister urges for war on the “untouchables”
Italy’s Interior Minister Marco Minniti has called on the Albanian authorities to fight the criminals which are considered as untouchable.
During the meeting at the Congress Palace for the presentation of the air monitoring report in the anti-cannabis fight, Minniti praised the cooperation between the Albanian Police and the Italian Police.
“The concept of untouchable doesn’t exist in Europe or in Italy, so we have to fight them in Albania as well
”, Italian Minister said.
Meanwhile, Interior Minister Fatmir Xhafaj has estimated that in the criminal activity of cannabis cultivation there were also police officers involved.
Xhafaj expressed the determination of the Albanian police to fight crime and financiers of this criminal business.
“The war continues to be even stronger against those who have funded this criminal business. We are determined to follow them step by step their criminal revenues”,
