Berisha: Manjani, the most threatened person in Albania
Former Prime Minister, Sali Berisha said Monday that the sacked Minister of Justice, Ylli Manjani is the most threatened person in Albania today.
“His existence constitutes the most major problem for Edi Rama and his criminal organization,” Berisha told ABC News.
He called for a parliamentary investigation commission to be established to take Manjani’s testimony.
“He (Manjani) has information for all the administrative activity of the government and the state, but also has information from the underworld of prisons, which is one of the main sources of information for crime and criminal activities in the country,” Berisha said.
Berisha called the rift which ended with removal of a minister from the ranks of Socialist Movement for Integration, as a capitulation of Ilir Meta, the head of the party.
“It is an unconditional capitulation of all these,” Berisha said.
He went on saying that Albanian police has failed to arrest the international fugitive Klement Balili, as “ he is the main contractor of Habilaj family…He is the main contractor of their drug and Saimir Tahiri’s drug.” Saimir Tahiri is Albanian Minister of Interior.
Albanian Justice Minister, Ylli Manjani was sacked from the office on Monday, days after his critic comments against Socialist Party led government. Petrit Vasili from the same party, Socialist Movement for Integration (LSI) is due to replace Manjani at the post of Minister of Justice./tvklan.al
