Maritime agreement to be finalized this week?
The maritime agreement between Albania and Greece is expected to be finalized this week.
Klan Television has learned that on Thursday 21th June, two Foreign Ministers, Bushati and Kotzias will meet in Rodos, while parallely with this meeting in Athens will be held the third round of the negotiations between the two groups.
The two meetings are confirmed by the Foreign Minister himself, who also has implied the finalization of the agreement.
“I believe that from the analysis we have made to this process we can say that we are on a path without return and hope that in the near future we will conclude this agreement.”
Bushati insists the Greek side has not conditioned the vote on opening negotiations with the maritime agreement.
The President of the Republic Meta said he is concerned about the negotiations and the failure of the Constitutional Court, as it is currently composed of only two members, this court can not consider any complaint about the agreement if there is one.
