Provisional chief prosecutor sued for the second time
As announced a day earlier, Dritan Gina, former prosecutor of Elbasan city, sued at the Serious Crimes Prosecution, the interim General Chief Prosecutor, Arta Marku.
Gina argues Marku has abused her duty with the decision to dismiss him from the post of Elbasan prosecutor.
Dritan Gina again strongly accused the way the General Prosecutor’s Office is operating. He claims that Marku and the Prosecutor’s Office are being politically used.
In the indictment, the former head of the Elbasan Prosecutor’s Office requires verification of the mental health of the Chief Prosecutor by conducting psychiatric-legal expertise.
It also requires a personal security measure, that of suspension from the assignment of the Provisional General Prosecutor.
One day earlier, the chief prosecutor, Arta Marku, was indicted by the prosecutor Rovena Gashi at the Administrative Court./tvklan.al
