Speedboat with 711 kg cannabis seized, 3 arrested
Another international anti-drug operation between Greek, Albanian and Italian Police has been developed. A 711 kg narcotic Cannabis Sativa is seized near Otranto. Three Albanians have been arrested.
The Greek Border Police has notified the State Police of a speedboat suspected of trafficking narcotics from Greece to Italy.
Border Police of D.P.V Vlora exchanged information immediately with counterparts of Italian Police, Guardia di Finanza in Durres and Vlora and with the Liaison Office of the State Police in Italy in a continuous communication with Guardia di Finanza in Bari and Puglia.
Guardia di Finanza has made it possible in the early hours of the morning near Otranto to detain the speedboat with three Albanian citizens on board:
L.B, 38, H.M, 23 and X. 24 years old.
Guardia di Finanza and Puglia Police have found and sequestered 712 kg of narcotic Cannabis Sativa on the board./tvklan.al
