State Police Director Veliu receives SELEC Director General
General Director of State Police Ardi Veliu received the General Director of the Center for the Enforcement of Law in South East Europe (SELEC), based in Romania.
The parties discussed the need to strengthen cooperation and exchange of information for a more effective fight against criminality and organized crime in particular.
SELEC leader Snejana Maleeva said during the meeting that the results so far have boosted the trust of partners at the State Police.
General Director Veliu expressed the determination of the State Police to cooperate with all partner organizations and police in the fight against organized crime and terrorism.
The SELEC Director handed the State Police two Honorary Certificates for the finalization of two “Koordinimi” and “Alias” operations, rated as the best in 2017 for Southeast European countries in the fight against trafficking in cases narcotic./tvklan.al
