Strong earthquake hits Albania
A magnitude 4.7 earthquake hit Albania on Friday, with shakes felt in many cities.
The
European Mediterranean Seismological Centre said the quake hit
61 km South of capital Tirana and 15 km Northwest of Berat city at a depth of 10 km.
The center said the quake hit at 17:07 local time (GMT 1507).
There were no reports on damages and injuries.
The shakes were felt in the cities of Berat, Lushnje, Vlore and Fier. /tvklan.al
