Western Balkan countries sign € 50 mln energy agreements
Six Western Balkan countries signed Thursday to agreement for renewable energy sources with a total amount of 50 million Euros.
The agreement was signed during the ministerial meeting held in Skopje Macedonia by ministers from Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Kosovo, Montenegro, Macedonia and Serbia.
The EU Enlargement Commissioner, Johannes Hahn, was also prezent at the meeting.
The agreement was also signed by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, European Investment Bank and German bank KFW, who will finance it.
Hahn said the granted funds were aimed at saveing energy and reduceing gas emissions./tvklan.al
