Xhafaj meeting with EU ambassadors in Tirana
Minister of Internal Affairs Fatmir Xhafaj, held today and an informative meeting which lasted more than 2 hours, with the ambassadors of the EU countries in Tirana.
After the meeting held in the delegation offices in Tirana, Minister Xhafaj wrote on social networks that during the meeting there were presented concrete results achieved in the fight against organized crime.
“This was second meeting in 3 months with all the ambassadors of the EU member states. I informed and responded to their specific questions and interest in the work and progress made in implementing the priorities and measures for the consolidation of the rule of law.
We presented concrete results in some areas, especially in the fight against organized crime within the”Power of Law” operation, Anti-cannabis, Border Management, Community Policing Reform, Vetting, etc. We expressed our gratitude for the cooperation created, during these joint working months.

We are excited and encouraged for the highly positive estimates of the trust expressed for the Ministry of Internal Affairs, State Police and Special Task Force as well as for the further deepening of cooperation.
